Greenhouse gases and Global Warming!

Postby satminder on Thu Sep 15, 2005 5:26 pm

Hiiiiii,
in my school for science my teacher set us two assignments. Greenhouse Gases and Global Warming. We all know that Methane, Carbon Dioxide, and Flurocarbons are the causes for Global Warming. And by reducing the burning fossil fuels, and the fuels used for cars, and also to conserve out energy, and replacing it with solar energy. And if we don't do these things, then our weather will be bad, and our sea levels will rise up! I hope this has been a help.

Hi Satminder,

Welcome to Earth Networks!

It is heartening to know that many schools around the world are emabarking on 'Green' projects/assignments to highlight the plight of the environment.

Would you like to share with us the name of your school and where it is located?

Nice to see you here Satminder.

Green awareness in schools are vital.

Though cliched, children are the future.

The future looks brighter if youths have concerns for the environment.

Welcome!

hi satminder.

apart from obvious theory, do you have practical (i mean hands-on) environmental lessons that they teach at school? projects maybe? you can share with us, and maybe we can feature it here. and if you have pictures, its even better. we also intend to promote green awareness for children on entv.

Hey Guys

Hey Guys,
This is Satminder.
Sorry i haven't been writing back for a while, i've been studing for school and i eventually forgot about this site. Until i had the curiosity to search my own name on Google, then i found my Uncles site (this one), and i go "OMG i forgot to send a reply to you guys."
I've read your comments, some are good, some aren't unfortunetly, but no matter. Global Warming needs to be seen everywhere, people need to take action, if not we'd lead ourselves into the next ice age. So people don't use much electricity, and yeah.
The world needs to wake up and see what they are doing to their world. Like my older sister always says: The world is like our home, we clean it and keep it hygiene free, the world is like our home, we should care for it like we care for our homes."
